What is Stretching and Bending

Stretching and Bending is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is an ancient form of safe and gentle therapeutic exercise, which combines deep breathing with movement.

Stretching and Bending keeps the body, its joints, muscles and tendons agile and well. It can speed recovery from injury, and if practiced regularly, it can prevent injury.

On the non-physical side, moving gently with the breath can bring about a meditative state and help to clear and settle the mind, focus and move into the day clear and ready for what is ahead.
