3 bulbs garlic
1 large onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
4 cups water
1 large potato
3 bayleaves
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon oregano
6 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
Pinch cayenne pepper
1. Chop the garlic and onion and sauté together in the oil for about 20 minutes. Keep the heat low.
2. Add the water, thyme, oregano, bayleaves and potato to the pot. Bring the soup to boil then simmer until the potato is cooked.
3. Add tamari / soy sauce and a good sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
4. Liquify in a blender or food processor or similar.
