What is “Stretching and “Bending”?
Stretching and Bending is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is an ancient Chinese form of safe and gentle stretching, which combines deep breathing with movement. It helps to keep the body, it’s joints, muscles and tendons agile and well. When practiced correctly it can speed recovery from injury.
Moving gently with the breath brings about a meditative state and helps shake away worries, settle the mind, and move into the day clear and ready.
The class is suitable for complete beginners. You will be guided through a simple and safe series of movements accompanied by rhythmic breathing.
